Tetsu Sugisaki (杉崎 哲 Sugisaki Tetsu) is best friend of Masaki Miura and goes to the same school as Hotaru, Sae and Masaki. In fifth grade he for the first time becomes classmates with Hotaru.
Biography[]
Tetsu is the son of the doctor Sugisaki, who was taking care of Hotaru Shiraishi in the hospital after the accident. It seems that both his parents work in the hospital. He lives in the neighborhood of the old uninhabited house, where Mizuki's soul is trapped during her coma. He has older sister, who loves to play console games. She told him that she saw a girl in Sasahara Girls School uniform in the garden of that so-called haunted mansion.
Physical appearance[]
Tetsu has very short black hair and wears sporty clothes.
Personality and traits[]
Tetsu is good at soccer and he's very popular kid in school. He is cheerful, honest, outgoing, carefree, talkative and enthusiastic. Also, he is very noisy and bad at lying.
Relationships[]
Tetsu likes girls who need protection, such as apparently is Hotaru. He told Masaki about Hotaru. In the end of the events, he realizes that he actually likes Hotaru a lot.
Behind the scenes[]
Tetsu doesn't appear in the film, only in the manga.
His appearance and personality strongly resembles Nobu Terashima, character from another Ai Yazawa's manga.
